Taranaki Toa is a small group of Taranaki-based whānau who see triathlon, and each of its three disciplines, as a vehicle for whānau to pursue a healthier lifestyle, in a helpful and supportive environment.

The Opunake Mounga Triathlon is based at Opunake High School.

The swim is held at Opunake Pool in a 25 metre indoor headed pool. Swim 12 lengths for the short course (300m) and 24 lengths for the long course (600m). The cycle leg is on an out and back course totalling 12km for the short course and 24km the long course. The run is on a 3km lap, with the short course doing 1 lap and the long course 2 laps (6km)

Egmont Community Arts Council Walkway Ideas

A surfboard fence something like this will be going beside the Club hotel down Havelock Street on the way to the beach.
